Nishabur Sugar Company
In February 1965, the Industrial and Mining Bank and the Planning and Budget Organization initiated the establishment of the Nishabur Sugar Plant with a daily capacity of 1,000 tons, and its establishment permit was obtained from the Ministry of Industries. The plant was registered in Nishabur on August 22, 1966, under number 67, with a capital of 22 million tomans. In 1969, the capacity was increased to 1,500 tons, and in 2005, it was further expanded to 3,000 tons of sugar beet per day. Currently, the company produces 52,200 tons of sugar from sugar beet and 128,800 tons of sugar from raw sugar refining annually. By engaging sugar beet farmers, ensuring quality production, and adhering to environmental principles, the company holds a significant position in Iran’s sugar industry. Nishabur Sugar Company has been listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange since 1995 under the ticker symbol “QNISHA.”

Margarine Company
Margarine Company is the first producer of vegetable oil in Iran, renowned among the public for its familiar brands such as Khorous, Aftab, and Aftab Talaee. The company commenced operations in January 1954 with a daily refining capacity of 8 tons and, leveraging skilled personnel, now boasts a daily production capacity of 1,000 tons. Margarine consistently strives to produce high-quality products tailored to customer needs. Currently, 38 types of oil products are manufactured across two segments: wholesale and industrial (B2B) and household consumption (B2C). These products comply with domestic and international standards, including those set by the Swiss SGS CODEX, and are available in many Middle Eastern and European countries. Partnering with customers and ensuring their satisfaction remains a top priority for Margarine’s management.

Behpak Industrial Company
Behpak Industrial Company (Public Joint-Stock) was established on August 31, 1968, as a private joint-stock company. According to Article 2 of its articles of association, the company’s primary activities include establishing and operating cotton ginning plants, oil extraction facilities, vegetable protein production units, and other related manufacturing operations. Additionally, the company engages in domestic and international trade, investment, exports, and imports. All production, commercial, and service activities of the company are directly or indirectly aligned with its core objectives. Leveraging experience, industrial infrastructure, and skilled human resources, Behpak plays a significant role in the supply chain of Iran’s food and agricultural industries. It continuously innovates and enhances its performance to pursue sustainable development and improve product quality.

Piranshahr Sugar Company
Piranshahr Sugar Company (Public Joint-Stock) was established as a private joint-stock company in 1983 and registered under number 130269 on December 17, 1983, at the Tehran Companies and Industrial Property Registration Office. It converted to a public joint-stock company on October 24, 1996, and was listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange on January 22, 1997.The factory began production in 1969 with a capacity of processing 1,000 tons of sugar beet per day, and its operational permit (No. 340429) was issued on March 20, 1970. Management of the plant was handled by Shahdsaz Company, affiliated with the Ministry of Industries, until 1983, after which it was registered as an independent entity. Through an expansion project in 1996, the plant’s nominal capacity increased from 1,000 to 1,500 tons of sugar beet processing per day. Additionally, operational permits for the alcohol production unit and raw sugar refining unit were issued in 1999 and 2000, respectively. The alcohol unit has an annual nominal capacity of 3.6 million liters of medical and industrial alcohol, while the raw sugar refining unit can process 70,000 tons of raw sugar into refined white sugar annually, with a packaging capacity of 15,000 tons per year.An expansion project to increase the plant’s capacity from 1,500 to 2,500 tons of sugar beet processing per day was initiated in 2001 and approved by the Ministry of Industries in March 2007. Ultimately, based on operational permit No. 110/42754 dated January 23, 2009, the processing capacity was increased to 3,000 tons of sugar beet per day.

Nagsh-e Jahan Sugar Company
Nagsh-e Jahan Sugar Company (Public Joint-Stock) was established in 1966 by Ali and Hossein Hamadanian, the founders of the Hamadanian Charitable Foundation, and commenced operations on a site spanning over 124 hectares. The company’s primary objective was to produce sugar products and by-products to meet part of the demand of the country’s food industry.
