Iran National Steel Industrial Group
In 1963, the country’s first steel rolling plant was established in Ahvaz to produce plain rebars, deformed rebars, and angles. Production lines were launched in 1967 with the installation and assembly of machinery, achieving an annual capacity of 65,000 tons. Gradually, additional workshops and processes were integrated into the facility. Following the glorious Islamic Revolution, this industrial complex, with its diverse range of rolling and steelmaking processes and products, was renamed Iran National Steel Industrial Group. Through the implementation of development and production line modernization projects in 1992, 2004, and 2006, production capacity increased, and product quality, operational systems, and production control were enhanced.
